Teen Bios

 

Abigail Reverman

The 13 year old daughter of Mike and Julie Reverman.  She attends Jimtown Junior High School and is a member of the Cheerleading squad.  She is on the Principal’s Honor Roll and is enrolled in Advanced Placement Courses.  She has been a gymnast for 8 years and is a member of the Elkhart YMCA Gymnastics team.  She will perform a gymnastics routine to Abba’s “Thank You for the Music”.  Abigail’s platform is “Modest Teen Fashion”.  Abigail is being sponsored by B-D Industries, Inc., Mr. and Mrs. Mike Reverman, Mr and Mrs. Robert Denton, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Reverman.

 

Chloe Anagnos

The 16 year old Sophomore at Elkhart Central High School.  She is the daughter of Dean and Natalie Anagnos.  She is the recipient of the President’s Education Award for Outstanding Award for Academic Excellence.  She has traveled to Costa Rica as a member of the Mission Team from Trinity United Methodist Church.  Chloe’s platform is “Make a Global Connection: The Benefits of Learning a World Language.”  She will play “Under Shooting Stars” by Carolyn Miller on the piano for her talent.  She is sponsored by the Anagnos Family.

 

Laken Thacker

The 14 year old daughter of Ken and Karen Thacker.  She is a Freshman at Northridge High School where she is on the High Honor Roll.  She is currently on a dance team at Inspire Athletics and has competed as a Level 6 gymnast.  Laken’s platform is “It’s Great To Be Me – Positive Body Image/Self Esteem, in which she wants to promote a good body image and self esteem in our youth.  She will perform a dance routine to “Ease On Down the Road” from “The Wiz”.  Laken would like to attend college to become a teacher.  Laken is being sponsored by the Kiefer and Thacker Families.

 

Samantha Abbott

Age 13, is the daughter of Gigi and the late Preston Abbott and attends Pierre Moran Middle School.  Her talent will be playing the flute to “The Entertainer”.  She is a P.E.P student and has been accepted into the Elkhart Leadership Academy.  Samantha is involved in the Pierre Moran Band and is working towards becoming a Level 9 gymnast.  Her career aspiration is to graduate from college and become a Registered Nurse.  Her platform is “Be Smart, Help Your Heart”.  Samantha Abbott is being sponsored by the Abbott Family.
